AWS announced a new feature called Fine-Grained Visual Embedding, powered by its cloud-based business intelligence service, Amazon QuickSight.

New functionality allows users to embed individual visualizations from QuickSight dashboards on high-traffic web pages and applications in a streamlined process that requires no server or software setup or infrastructure management .

Built-in analytics provide near real-time analysis and reporting capabilities and can empower teams with faster insights with higher quality data compared to traditional BI reporting methods. The embedded analytics market is expected to reach over $60 million by 2023, according to a report by Allied Market Research.

The Amazon Quicksight service offers built-in analytics capabilities that allow users to embed brand analytics into internal portals or public sites, including interactive dashboards, natural language queries, or reporting. It’s a fully managed cloud-based service that the company says offers enterprise-grade security, global availability, and built-in redundancy.

Previous iterations of QuickSight’s integration capabilities required building, scaling, and maintaining libraries of build layers and graphics to integrate individual visualizations. According to Amazon, Thin Visual Integration now gives developers and ISVs the ability to embed any dashboard visuals into applications using APIs, and businesses can embed visuals into their internal sites using the one-click onboarding feature, a tool designed for non-technical users. .

If the visuals are updated or the source data changes, the embedded visuals are automatically updated, and as website traffic increases, they are automatically scaled. Data access is secured with row-level security that ensures users can only access their own data.

Detailed visual integration is now available for Amazon QuickSight Enterprise Edition users in all supported regions. Detailed information is available on the documentation page.
